The wardrobe gap analysis idea is so smart — uploaded my closet photos and immediately saw I had zero structured outerwear.
I'd been browsing SL bags for three months without committing to anything. Followed this checklist step by step — defined my aesthetic as minimal-classic, set a hard budget, asked AI to shortlist three options filtered by color compatibility with what I already own. Bought a black Loulou within a week and it goes with literally everything. No regret, no second-guessing. Should have done this from the start.
Cost per wear projections turned luxury shopping from emotional to logical for me.
Finally a practical way to use AI for fashion decisions instead of just chatbot small talk. The step about saving your top three options instead of endless browsing broke a bad habit I didn't even realize I had.
Flagging pieces I rarely wear was surprisingly painful but necessary 🖤
Decent framework but it assumes you're already comfortable using AI tools. A few more specific workflow examples would help beginners actually execute the steps.
The validation step before buying saved me from a sizing disaster — fit reviews told a completely different story than the product page.
Tracking performance after purchase is the part nobody talks about. I started logging how often I wear each piece and it completely changed what I shop for next. Two months in and my cost per wear on the SL jacket I bought dropped to under $15. Meanwhile a trendy pair of boots I grabbed impulsively sits in my closet untouched. Data doesn't lie.
Short, clean, immediately actionable.
The color compatibility filter step alone prevented me from buying another black piece when my wardrobe was screaming for warm neutrals.
Good concept but felt a little thin — I finished it in five minutes and wanted more depth on the AI shortlisting step. How do you actually structure the prompt to get useful results? Would love a follow-up.
Comparing prices across authorized retailers is such a simple move but I never bothered until this checklist pushed me. Found the same SL wallet for $90 less at a different authorized seller.
My wardrobe finally makes sense as a system instead of random purchases ✨
The lifestyle matching tip hit home. I kept buying evening pieces when 90% of my life is casual — AI helped me see the disconnect clearly.
I used to spend hours scrolling the SL website unable to decide. This checklist cut my decision time to under 20 minutes. Defined my inputs, asked AI for a shortlist of three, validated sizing and price, done. Bought a Kate bag that fits my life perfectly. Before this I would've agonized for weeks and probably picked something less practical. The structure removes the emotional spiral entirely.
❤️👜🔥
Prioritizing items that match your real lifestyle sounds obvious but it's the step most shoppers skip entirely.
Solid checklist. Four stars only because the post-purchase tracking section could use a template or spreadsheet example to make it easier to actually follow through.
Uploaded my wardrobe photos and asked AI to identify gaps — turns out I had seven pairs of black pants and no structured bags. Embarrassing but eye-opening.
The three-option limit is genius. Killed my analysis paralysis.
Nice but pretty basic for anyone who already uses AI regularly. Feels more like a starter guide than a deep resource. Still a clean format though.
Checking return and authenticity policies before buying is a step I used to skip. Not anymore — this checklist made it part of my routine and it's already saved me once on a pre-owned purchase that seemed off.
Went from impulse buyer to strategic shopper in one read.
The defining your aesthetic step forced a conversation with myself I'd been avoiding. I kept shopping like three different people — minimal one day, edgy the next. Picking one lane and filtering through it made every suggestion from AI actually relevant. My closet has a point of view now instead of being a costume closet.
Reviewing product photos for material quality before buying online is such underrated advice 👌
Practical, fast, and it works — what more do you need from a checklist.
Would have liked more on which specific AI tools work best for fashion recommendations. The checklist tells you what to do but not always where to do it.
The wardrobe analysis step revealed I own almost nothing in earth tones — AI suggested a tan SL belt and it instantly elevated five outfits I already had.
⭐👏🖤✨🔥
I love that it doesn't stop at the purchase. Logging how often you wear something and feeding that data back into your next decision is such a smart loop. After two months of tracking I realized my most-worn SL pieces are all structured neutrals, so that's where I'm putting my budget next. No more guessing.
This turned AI from a novelty into an actual shopping tool for me.
The budget input step seems simple but writing down a hard number before browsing changed everything. No more slow creep toward pieces I can't afford.
Helpful but the checklist format means you fly through it fast. Would gladly read a longer version that walks through each step with screenshots or example conversations with AI tools.
Sent this to my friend who spends three hours browsing every weekend and never buys anything.
Cost per wear thinking is the unlock. A $2,000 jacket worn 200 times costs less per use than a $200 trendy piece worn twice. This checklist made that math real for me.
I was skeptical about using AI for luxury shopping but followed the checklist out of curiosity. It suggested a classic SL tote I never would have considered on my own — and it's now my most-used bag. The wardrobe photo upload step was what made the recommendation actually relevant instead of generic. Without seeing what I already owned, AI would've just suggested the usual popular picks.
Clean, structured, no wasted words.
The silhouette matching tip caught me — I kept buying slim cuts when I actually reach for relaxed fits every day.
Good starting point. The validate-before-buying section is strongest — checking sizing guides manually after AI suggests something is a smart safeguard. Lost a star because the generate-shortlist step could use more detail on prompting technique.
Using insights from past purchases to guide the next one turns shopping into a feedback loop instead of a guessing game 🔥
Filtering by color compatibility saved me from buying another all-black piece.
My husband thought I was overthinking it until my last three purchases all landed perfectly. Now he wants his own checklist.
The lifestyle priority filter is everything — stopped buying for the life I imagine and started buying for the life I live.
👜✨❤️
I appreciate the post-purchase tracking section. Most shopping guides end at checkout and ignore whether the piece actually earned its place in your wardrobe. This one closes the loop, and that's what makes the difference between collecting and curating. My last four SL purchases have all been guided by data from the previous ones.
Wish there were specific AI prompt templates included — the steps are clear but I had to figure out the right wording myself.
Stopped browsing endlessly and started deciding with confidence.
The wardrobe gap analysis combined with the three-option shortlist is a powerful one-two punch. Went from vague wanting to a specific purchase in one afternoon. No regrets two months later — the piece works exactly as predicted.
Solid for anyone new to using AI beyond basic search. The structure keeps you from going down rabbit holes.
Comparing prices across authorized retailers found me a $120 difference on the same bag — paid for a nice dinner with the savings.
Quick read that genuinely changed how I approach every luxury purchase now.
