Finally a checklist that treats luxury shopping like a real decision, not just an impulse. The wardrobe audit section alone made me rethink three items I was about to buy 👏
The cost-per-wear framework changed how I think about every Hermès purchase.
I used the lifestyle inputs section before my SA appointment and walked in with so much more clarity. Felt like I had a personal stylist prepping me 🙌
I've been building my Hermès collection for about four years and always bought based on what was available rather than what actually fit my life. After going through this checklist, I realized half my scarves sit untouched because they don't match anything I wear day-to-day. I used the wardrobe gap prompts and identified that what I actually needed was a versatile neutral bag, not another bold accessory. Ended up getting a Gold Birkin 30 and I've worn it almost every day since. This PDF basically paid for itself a thousand times over.
Really practical prompts, just wish it included resale value tips too 🤷♀️
👜✨💅🔥
The part about validating practicality before buying is underrated. I never thought to ask AI for outfit combinations with what I already own, and now that's my go-to step before any purchase.
Short, sharp, and immediately useful ✨
Good framework overall and I've already used several of the prompts. I'd love a version that goes deeper into specific Hermès categories like leather goods versus ready-to-wear.
Before this checklist I was the queen of impulse Hermès purchases — beautiful pieces that just sat in my closet. I went through each section methodically and realized my wardrobe was heavy on evening pieces but I work from home four days a week. The AI prompts helped me see that a casual crossbody and a lightweight shawl would get ten times more use than another clutch. I've since bought an Evelyne and a cashmere stole and both are in constant rotation 💛 Wish I'd had this years ago.
Took me ten minutes to read and saved me thousands.
❤️👌⭐
The checklist has solid bones and the wardrobe audit idea is clever. I found some of the prompts a bit surface-level though, and would have appreciated more advanced examples for people who already use AI regularly.
I downloaded this on a whim and it shifted my entire approach to building a luxury wardrobe. For context, I'd been eyeing a Kelly 28 for over a year but kept going back and forth on the color. I followed the lifestyle inputs section and fed my daily routine, work dress code, and travel habits into the AI. It suggested I go with Étoupe over the black I was leaning toward, because it would pair better with the warm-toned wardrobe I described. I also used the tracking prompts after purchase and logged every wear for three months. Turns out I reached for it four to five times a week, which brought the cost-per-wear down fast 🎯 The before-and-after in my decision-making confidence is real. I used to agonize for months and now I walk in knowing exactly what fits my life.
👏👏👏👏👏
Helpful starting point, though seasoned collectors might want more depth.
